Lost data, what to do next?
Data loss is the most common situation nowadays. Users store data on computers, laptops, hard drives, phones and tablets. The important question is what should people do when they lose their data? There may be different reasons for data loss such as fire, physical failure of a device, liquid damage, and accidental deletion. In any case, there are some rules that must be followed after data loss. Users are also unaware of the reason for data loss in most of these cases. For example, if it is physical failure of a device then running the device with the hope of recovery by making failed attempts may make the device condition even worse. So it is advisable to avoid running or using the device before it is too late to rescue the data.
If the data has been deleted accidentally or by mistake, it is very important to stop using the device immediately. When data is deleted, the computer storage still stores data at its original location but because the link to that location is eliminated, the computer thinks that space is available for writing or storing new data. Data is usually written randomly to the storage and if computer stores new data in the same location where the other old data was stored before, it will simply overwrite it and this will make data recovery impossible because overwritten data is not recoverable (lost forever). If you need data recovery, we have high success rates with all kinds of storage devices.
